Culture is the silent differentiator.
Every organisation has one. You see it in the way people prepare, how they communicate under pressure and what they allow to slide. I help leadership teams build the culture that makes consistent performance a reality, not an assumption.

Culture comes first. Everything else follows.
When the culture is clear and properly reinforced, leadership has more impact, teams understand their roles and accountability becomes collective. When culture is unclear, even the most talented people struggle to perform together.
I do not treat culture as a set of values written on a wall. I look at what actually happens when the pressure rises. What gets challenged? What gets ignored? Who takes responsibility? What does the team allow?
"Culture is not what we say. Culture is what we allow."
I can motivate a room. I can also help change what happens after the room.
I believe a great speech should do more than create a temporary high. It should give people a different way to think, a language they can use and a standard they can act on.
I speak about culture and performance because I have lived in environments where preparation, trust, communication and accountability were not corporate ideas. They were the difference between success and failure.
My talks are designed to inspire people, challenge their thinking and leave them with practical tools they can take back into their teams. Because motivation matters, but it only becomes powerful when it is connected to a culture that supports action, consistency and collective responsibility.
Performance is a rhythm, not a personality trait.
In elite sport, we do not leave performance to chance. We use a deliberate cycle that I now install into business teams.
Prepare
Create clarity before the pressure arrives. Understand the role, the task and what the team needs from each person.
Execute
Perform in the moment. Communicate clearly, respond to what is in front of you and take responsibility for the next action.
Review
Look honestly at what happened. Learn quickly, reinforce the standard and prepare to improve the next performance.
Trusted by organisations who take performance seriously.

From Twickenham to the F1 pit lane, the principles don't change.
The man behind the message.
Luther Burrell played international rugby for England and spent over a decade at the highest level of the Premiership, with over 200 appearances, five major honours and a Barbarians call-up.
He didn't just play. He studied what makes elite teams function, what breaks them, and what the gap between average and consistent looks like from the inside.
Since retiring from the game, Luther has taken that thinking into some of the UK's most recognisable organisations, from RFU headquarters to Formula One garages.
As co-founder of F1rst Phase, he now works with leadership teams to build the cultural infrastructure that makes consistent performance possible, not just in the best of times, but when the pressure is highest.
He is not a motivational speaker. He is a performance specialist.
